Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about getting help
Do I have to pay for services?
No. All of our services are completely free. We are a nonprofit organization supported by donors and grants, committed to removing financial barriers to success.
What if I have a felony conviction?
We serve individuals regardless of their criminal record. We believe everyone deserves a second chance and we specialize in helping those with felony convictions navigate unique challenges.
Can I get help if I'm still on parole/probation?
Absolutely. We work closely with parole and probation officers and can help you meet your requirements while accessing additional support services.
How long does the application process take?
For crisis situations, we respond immediately. For non-urgent needs, initial contact is made within 48 hours and you'll typically meet with a case manager within 1 week.
What if I've relapsed or violated parole?
We practice forgiveness and understand that reentry is a process with setbacks. We don't give up on you and will continue supporting you through challenges.
Do I need documentation or ID to apply?
No. While having ID helps, lack of documentation won't prevent you from accessing our services. In fact, we can help you obtain identification documents.
